From Vietnam's tumultuous culture and history, Antonius Tin-Bui learns lessons about freedom in art and identity. You probably know Antonius for his amazingly detailed paper-cut portraits, but the artist also experimented with performance art, or most recently, drag. Whatever the form, Antonius's compositions have a hard-to-set-up-hard-to-beat confidence, the color of the queer community and, despite everything, are imbued with the Vietnamese spirit.
