In his painting Chase Hall explores history to understand the resilient lineage of Black Americans. His work has been shown in Kunsthalle Basel, Switzerland, the Public Art Fund, New York and the Institute of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles. Hall's work is held in permanent museum collections including the Institute of Contemporary Art in Miami, Florida, the Rubell Museum in Florida and the Studio Museum in Harlem, New York.
