An embodiment of symbols representing justice, truth, and balance. The arching frame is created from the remains of two antique mirror frames, the one most intact enveloping the subject. Her unrelenting gaze, both confronts the viewer and travels beyond, while the opening of her mouth with her teeth just visible penetrates her veil as if to speak. She hovers over a seascape that appears visible through her ghostly outline, and above two figures emerged in the water below, her pearl necklace and dress resembling the surrounding environment.
